Avon River Rafting — July to September Level 1

Why not try river rafting this winter on the mighty Avon River just 1hr drive from Perth. Be one of the few that can say they have rafted the same water as some of the best paddlers and kayakers do each year in WA’s premier white water event — the Avon Descent.

Our Avon River Rafting is a fantastic introduction to rafting for those that have never rafted before or those that just want try something new. The day is suitable for the whole family and is a good lead up to the more adventurous Middle Murray White Water Rafting Trips.

Starting from Walyunga National Park, you will be able to enjoy the pristine water and beautiful Jarrah forests. Tranquility gives way to adventure as you approach Bell’s Rapid a grade 2/3 rapid.

Adventure Out Will Provide

• $10 million Public Liability Insurance
• An experienced escorting your raft from a kayak
• Complete safety and paddle briefing prior to rafting
• Wholesome and warming lunch (Vegetarians and special diets upon request)
• Transport from Bell’s Rapids to launch point
• All necessary equipment for a safe and exciting river trip including top quality life jackets, helmets and wetsuits
• For safety purposes, we suggest you leave any jewellery at home.

Cost

• $105.00 per person
• $100.00 per person for group of 3–5 people
• $95.00 per person for group of 6–10 people
• $95.00 per child (aged 10–16)

Upon booking, we require a 30% deposit to secure your place on the program. We require full payment 7 days prior to the program.

When

Saturday’s and Sunday’s (water levels permitting). Mid week trips available for groups.

Murray River White Water Rafting — July to Sept Level 2

Our winter white water rafting trips take place on the Murray River, 80km south of Perth in the beautiful Dwellingup region. Start the day with a gentle paddle which gives you a chance to gain confidence on the river, then hang on tight and experience the thrill of rapids such as ‘Bob’s Calamity, ‘Rollercoaster’, ‘Playpen’, and ‘Big Rock Rapid’.

We offer great white water rafting opportunities on Saturday’s and Sunday’s from July until September with time on the river lasting 4–5 hours and include rapids between grades 2–4. Mid week trips can also be organised for group bookings.

Adventure Out Will Provide

• “Wake Up” drink and pastries
• Wholesome lunch (Vegetarians and special diets upon request)
• Transport to and from launch point
• Pick up points from Perth and Murdoch
• An experienced guide escorting your raft from a kayak
• All necessary equipment for a safe and exciting abseiling and river trip including top quality life jackets, helmets, and wetsuits
• $10 million Public Liability Insurance

Cost

• $185 per person
• $175 per person group booking of 3–5 people
• $166.50 per person group booking of 6–10 people
• $166.50 per person group booking 11+ people with 12 person free
• $166.50 aged 12–16years

Our instructors are highly trained, warm and friendly individuals chosen for their ability to make your day safe, fun-filled and unforgettable. You can be sure your Instructor is a skilled, experienced professional focused totally on making the day one to remember.

Photos

Our instructors will shoot at various vantage spots during the day and proofs are available for viewing and purchase soon after the trip. We will do our best to ensure memories of your trip are captured.

Boats

Adventure Out uses a combination of 2man and 6man boats. Depending on water levels and the demographics of the group, you may be in either of these boats during your adventure.
