CUSTOM EXPERIENCE

    Adventures Example Itinerary

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL PROGRAM LOOK Like?

We’ve included an example program below that we curated for a customer whose focus was to help their team band together across multiple departments. Their team had become disjoined and stale, they had stagnated at a level that they had not been able to surpass with other conventional methods; salary increases, restructuring, performance reviews and salary tied KPI’s. They wanted to revitalise their team in a way that was not forced, awkward or condescending, they wanted to inject some fun and excitement into the development day!

Heirisson Island – Burswood Park Ignition

    INTRODUCTION

In the morning session, the group will participate in a sequence of challenging activities designed to touch on areas such as communication, team roles and responsibilities, leadership awareness, trust and cooperation.

In the middle of your fun-filled team development day you discover that a militant group plans to blow up the city with thermo nuclear bombs. Important clues needed to disarm the bombs have been planted on Heirisson Island and bridge access to the island has been cut off.

You manage to locate a group of ex-military personnel (Adventure Out Staff) that have further information about the group’s demands. They cannot go it alone and require the assistance of a high performing team to help them out.

The objective of the afternoon’s activity is for your team to disarm a quantity of thermo nuclear bombs located around the site that have been set to go off at a specified time. Our bombs come complete with electronics and pyrotechnics, unsuccessful teams can expect an explosive result. With the right tools, collaboration with information, you will also be able to defuse the bomb code and save the day.

It is your team’s mission to build a raft, paddle across to the island, retrieve all the clues needed to disarm the bombs, locate and disarm the bombs to save the existence of the Perth CBD as we know it.
